Hey, Max...Check out this unbelievable scorcher of a Cassidy...from 10/12/83

Totally agree that, much as I revere '77, Cassidy is one of those tunes that simply got much better with age.

A good one.

I've always liked this one, don't think I could say exactly why, but it gives me chills starting about half way through. The same goes for TLEO. Just one of those things.

Sorry if it seemed I was picking on you. I'll try harder to behave. I doubt I'll change my opinions, but, on the other hand, I never thought I'd have some of the opinions I have now. Life seems to change some things without warning every now and then.

No apologies necessary, Edsel.

Despite what a lot of r-wingers think, REAL leftists are thick skinned.

You have to be if you;re going to stand up for things that are easy to ridicule like civil rights and free speech.

As I say, no matter how much I may disagree w/some people on this foum politically, the fact that we're all serious Dead Heads shows there's plenty of room for common ground.

I simply ask that if we're going to agree to debate, we debate the actual issues and take the time to respond with posts that actually make sense (the response I got from TT & rastamon to my last "non-dead post" doesn't even seem insulting--it's just one big non-sequiter...can't make heads nor tails of it, which indicates at best an unwillingness to back up one's views and at worst, a childish admission that you have no interest in the exchange of ideas at all, but rather an adherence to a set in stone way of thinking that has no possibility for change.

Of course, if that's how some people like to express themselves, --hey, it's free speech, so fair game, I suppose. Zippy the Pinhead talks in non sequiters all the time, and he's a hero of mine. (Zippy for President in '08!)

Glad to hear you like that MSG Cassidy; it's a thriller!
